Thai company beefs up virtualization solutions
VMWare, a virtualization solution company based in Thailand, has announced that they’re shifting their priority target markets to both small and medium-range organizations. This, in order for the SMEs and MSMEs to experience first hand the benefits of virtualization.In order to attract more small and medium range businesses, VMWare Thailand has expanded their target range to manufacturing and insurance companies.VMWare Thailand Country Manager Samuth Thanadsarang said that the move was prompted when they noticed that large scale businesses’ virtualization solutions start go from desktop to data center and into the cloud.Thanadsarang emphasized the vital role that a database can play in a certain business. He said that there are other benefits apart from the reduced expenses. The high ranking official said that it is possible to deploy virtualization solutions at reduced price points.”They can downsize the computer servers, let’s say from 10 units to one,” he said, adding that their company will also continue developing disaster recovery solutions.”Even when disasters such as fires or other unexpected incidents occur, or during hardware failures, the data should be protected and always available on demand,” he stressed.The Thailand based virtualization solutions company has also partnered up with Google to deliver solutions that will enable enterprise software developers to become more efficient in building, managing and deploying applications in any cloud environment.Meanwhile, to help organizations that want to employ high level virtualization, VMWare applies service level agreements in order to let users access applications at any given time.
