SERGO Ready to Embark on Major Leasing Programme

Filed under: Ads, Doing Business, Your Commerce — admin @ 8:02 am

SERGO, a reputed development company, has upgraded its leasing team at Winnersh Triangle by appointing Kevin Williamson as senior leasing surveyor.

Present agents Colliers and Vail Williams will work in close coordination with Williamson to initiate the leasing of SERGO’s latest redevelopment project at the South Reading business complex, which is estimated to be worth £100m.

Experts agree that the South Reading project is one of the most prestigious projects for SERGO. The project includes setting up of a business arcade involving an area of 323,000 square feet for four office buildings and 16,500 square feet for retail outlets. The business complex will also house a Holiday Inn hotel, which would offer 174 bedrooms.

Vicki Patterson, SERGO’s regional manager of national markets, was all praise for Williamson when he said that Williamson, by virtue of his extensive past experience with SERGO in both office and industry sectors, is by far the best person to spearhead the new leasing programme to enable SERGO to build a state-of-the-art business hub in the South Reading complex. Williamson previously held the position of associate director with the DTZ Bristol office where his duties included the supervision of office and industrial transactions in the Bristol area. The upcoming South Reading business complex has 3,000 people employed by SERGO, who are working steadily to complete the first few office buildings by the end of 2009. The buildings have been given on lease to the engineering firm Jacobs, along with the previous occupant Harris System.

The construction on the complex will be finished in 15 years’ time. Once completed, the structure will have enough space to accommodate over 20,000 firms.
